Where do I come from?

Professionally, I come from aviation, privately from Berlin - six years of kerosene in my nose, a bankruptcy and moving across the country. After risk analyses, error culture campaigns, handling processes and safety training, Corona came along. "People will always travel" suddenly no longer applied. I started afresh from the crisis. What I saw in corporations had made me think about organizational structure and corporate culture for some time. It didn't really seem to be about people. I wanted to underpin this feeling with knowledge. I studied business psychology and became a consultant for agile team and organizational development in Cologne, where sustainable consumption became increasingly important to me and with it sustainability concepts and regenerative management. A far cry from the rational homo oeconomicus of my business studies. And so I began to question different things: my own patterns, social constructs and economic concepts, my understanding of work, performance and health. I became a yoga teacher and learned what tension and relaxation mean physically and mentally, and it quickly became clear to me that from now on it would be about sustainability and humanity. In my Master's thesis, I researched health-promoting work design within the sustainability strategy of companies. Because only those who manage their own resources sustainably can also manage the planet's. Then I went back to Berlin for the On Purpose Associate Programme and then to K'UP, where I reflect on sustainable organizational development.

What drives me?

Questioning the status quo, or as the Austrian lyricist Rainer Maria Rilke wrote: “Live the questions now. Perhaps then, someday far in the future, you will gradually, without even noticing it, live your way into the answer”

What is my strategy?

Deceleration.
